Terms of Use

Effective 2026-09-25.

The site and what it promises

Torch & Anvil provides free, browser-based calculators and reference guides for the game Minecraft. The numbers are verified with care, the sources are named, and every page is stamped with the game version it was checked against — and still, everything here is provided "as is," without warranty of any kind. Game mechanics change; a stamp tells you when a page was last checked, not that nothing has moved since.

Who this site is for

This is a general-audience reference site about a game played by all ages, and its privacy policy treats the readership as a mixed audience. Nothing here requires an account, a purchase, or any personal information, so there is no minimum age to read a page or use a calculator. The published email address is for correspondence with adults: if you are under 13, ask a parent or guardian to write on your behalf rather than emailing yourself.

Acceptable use

Use the tools for anything you like, including videos, guides, and commercial builds. Link to any page freely. Do not scrape the site at volumes that degrade it for others, misrepresent its content as your own, or frame it in a way that misattributes it.

Intellectual property

The site's original text, design, code, and artwork belong to Torch & Anvil. Minecraft is a trademark of Mojang Synergies AB. This site is an independent fan project: not an official Minecraft product or service, and not approved by or associated with Mojang or Microsoft. No official game assets are used here.

No accounts, no purchases

This site sells nothing, hosts no downloads, and never asks for game credentials. Anything elsewhere claiming to be this site and asking for a login or payment is an impersonation.

Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Torch & Anvil is not liable for any damages arising from use of this site — including, for completeness, the blocks you mined for a circle whose diameter you later regretted.

Changes

These terms change only when the site's practices do; the effective date above moves with any change. Questions: contact.
